Commonwealth v. R.H.

Smart cross examination led to an aquittal for Mr. Montoya’s client.   Mr. Montoya was able to manuever the officers to admit that RH was arrested at a different location from where the drugs were found.  Officers had testified that when RH was arrested they found the drugs attributed to him on the ground.  However due to being extremely prepared Mr. Montoya was able to direct the court to numerous inconsistencies between the police officer’s testimony and their own documents.  These discrepancies were highlighted by Mr. Montoya in his closing argument which were highly instrumental in the court finding his client not guilty of all charges.
