JD was arrested for starting a riot, terroristic threats, possession of an instrument of crime and other related offenses. The Commonwealth alleged that after disbursing a huge crowd of teenagers that were fighting, JD came back with his daughter, several friends and a huge pit bull. After getting to his daughter’s high school, JD allegedly unleashed the dog on the crowd and a violent riot ensued. Mr. Shaffer was able to show that even though JD’s dog got loose that no one received any medical attention and that JD himself ended up collaring his dog. Over strenuous argument from the Commonwealth, JD was found not guilty of all charges.
