FD was charged with possession with intent to distribute narcotics. Police officers sent a confidential informant to FD’s house. FD allegedly sold the informant pills and marijuana on three separate days. There were two other men working with FD. Police officers executed a warrant recovering drugs and money. Both co-defendant’s working with FD both plead guilty and were sentenced to periods of incarceration. Not willing to accept a jail term for FD, Mr. Shaffer was able to file multiple motions challenging the Commonwealth’s case. After several listings and continuances by the prosecution, Mr. Shaffer was able to litigate a 600(a) motion. The judge heard the motion and dismissed all charges with prejudice
