Commonwealth v. A.H. – Detainer Lifted and Probation Terminated!

Commonwealth v. A.H. – Detainer Lifted and Probation Terminated!

AH was on probation for three separate felony offenses including robbery. After being released from prison he stopped reporting to probation after one month. Eight months later after a routine traffic stop the police took AH in to custody for absconding from probation. At the violation hearing Mr. Shaffer was able to bring in friends, family and a social worker from the prison to speak on AH’s behalf. The judge was so moved by Mr. Shaffer’s argument that he decided to terminate all his probation instead of giving him additional jail time and probation. AH was released from custody immediately.
